The Modern American International School (MAIS), established in August 2015 in Sharjah, is a private K–12 institution offering an American curriculum designed to foster creativity, critical thinking, and global citizenship. Serving a diverse, multinational community, MAIS emphasizes academic excellence and strong moral values grounded in Islamic traditions and respect for all cultures.

Welcome to The Modern American International School- MAIS, where education is provided for our future generation from foundation stage throughout high school. Although the main focus is on education, we aim to provide the students with a community that brings us together as one family. Having a school’s community will allow students, parents, and staff members to feel connected and learn from one another in order to build respect, core values, and strong personalities. We plan on doing so by organizing extra curricular activities during the year that relates to current events and issues, bringing the students together and making them aware of their surroundings. The school will also be providing students with educational trips, giving them hands on experience and taking their knowledge outside the typical classroom setting, allowing them to expand their learning journey. We need to put our work and efforts together by providing ideas and concepts in order to build a community that we can proudly call our own.
